Increase Your Empathy - Tackle Your Unconscious Bias

We are all aware of how important diversity and inclusion is for businesses and their leaders. A diverse team will contribute wider ideas and solutions to problems by looking at them from differing perspectives. Attempting to navigate discussions around bias, diversity and inclusion whilst actively improving representation, however, can prove tricky and requires individuals and companies to bravely confront their own prejudice. By gaining a deeper sense of your own identity story and how it informs your global perspective you can dismantle your own unconscious biases, andemploy greater empathy. This class will foster the skills you need to create an inclusive, open and positive culture, primed for success.

In this class you will:

• Practice stepping into someone else's shoes in any situation to ignite your empathy
• Discover your own unconscious internal biases so you can actively begin to reduce their impact
• Identify any triggers you may have, understand their effect and how to dismantle them
• Gain the language needed to talk to team members and customers from an outlook of diversity and inclusion
